Natural Looking Ecosystem, Fish, Koi Pond, & Water Gardens
Rocks like Tennessee fieldstone, river rock or flagstone are used to frame the pond. To complete the pond, we install aquatic plants that are planted directly into the base gravel to ensure a totally natural look. Easily adding fish of your choice will help maintain your pond by eating unsightly algae.
If you live in the Lowcountry of Beaufort, Bluffton, Hilton Head or Charleston SC, we can help you install a beautiful koi pond or garden pond. We also provide services for customers in coastal Georgia including Savannah, GA. We would love to help you transform an area on your property into a lovely pond. We Can Help Educate You If Your Looking To Install A Pond
If you are already a goldfish or koi pond owner you will see our resources and information on our website here to help you better understand our proven methods for building and maintaining various types of fish/koi ponds and water garden type water features.
There are backyard ponds that come in many types, kinds and sizes. Each version of them has its unique individual characteristics. Before you start laying out a pond project it is important that you make a choice between one of the different types of ponds. There are many different kinds of ponds you can choose from. Do your research and let us know when you decide. |
Once You Decide To Build Your PondOnce you've decided what kind of pond you are going to build, determining its size and place to build in your yard or garden area will be the next important step. Pay special attention to the position in relation to views from inside any buildings, and plantings in regard of shadow, continued growth of roots and foundation.
You should always consider what pond shape & form would best fit in with your house and your garden design. A stark pond, for example square, L-form, or fully round pond will properly fit in with a modern house and garden. A naturally formed pond, for example, is kidney-shaped & fits in most all other spaces without issues. The natural style pond is our most popular install with most Lowcountry area Homeowners. |
About Your Pond's LocationTo get the maximum enjoyment from your backyard paradise investment, we suggest having your fish pond or water garden installed as close to the areas that you spend most of your outdoor time. We also suggest that you take into consideration the views from inside the house as well. Being able to see your pond lit up at night from windows, and listening to waterfalls and streams, with open windows will fill your house with the sound of moving water.
A lot of people make the mistake of installing their pond or water garden to far away from the house in a "Dead Area" of their yard to try and make it interesting. In our opinion this is the worst possible location to try and get the most enjoyment out of your investment. Long story short... Move it closer to your house or patio. |
